The Trojans were instilled as a 1000-1 long shot to win this year’s Championship game.  This is a team that went from winning just 13 games last season to 29 this year, the largest improvement in the country.  They also yielded the third-fewest points per game in the nation.

Little Rock had to take their 1st round game into double overtime to walk away with the 85-83 victory.

Earlier in the day, Yale, a team that had not made an appearance in the Tournament for over 50 years, managed to knock of mighty Baylor.
