The Arizona vs. Wisconsin betting line for this weekend’s Elite 8 had the Badgers as a +1.5 underdog.

Both teams come into this Elite 8 game with identical 34-3 records Straight Up.  Arizona was 23-14-1 Against The Spread while Wisconsin had an ATS record of 19-17-1.

The Wildcats are 15-5 Against The Spread in their last 20 games overall, 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games following a Straight Up and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. Big Ten.

The Badgers are 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 neutral site games.

A year ago this weekend, Wisconsin beat Arizona by a mere one point.  The Badgers were a +3.5 underdog in that game.

This is the first time in more than 40 years - and will be just the ninth time in NCAA Tournament history - that a pair of teams will meet in the Elite 8 in consecutive years. The previous seven times that teams met in back-to-back Elite 8s have seen one team win both matchups.

A year ago, the game was played in Anaheim, where the Wildcats have yet to win a regional in four tries. Their history in Los Angeles is mixed. They won the regional against Missouri in 1994, and lost to UCLA in the final in 1976.
