The 2012 March Madness Tournament Contest starts three days before the 1st game and closes once the 1st game starts. All entries after this point will be considered void.  It has already begun at WagerWeb.com here

2. All times, unless otherwise stated, are in Eastern Standard Time (EST). 

3. Tournament Bracket Contest is free to all active customers; an active customer is a customer with an active funded acct.

4. Each individual bracket will award the Top 10 Players.

1st place          $7,500 Free Play

2nd place         $5,500 Free Play

3rd place          $3,250 Free Play

4th place          $2,000 Free Play

5th place          $1,750 Free Play

6th place          $1,500 Free Play

7th place          $1,250 Free Play

8th place          $1,000 Free Play

9th place          $750 Free Play

10th place        $500 Free Play

5. Prizes will be given to the contestants who score the most points choosing the winners of each of the tournament games.

6. Points are allocated as such:

Tournament Bracket

1 point for every correct answer in the Round of 64.

3 points for every correct answer in the Round of 32.

5 points for every correct answer in the Round of the Sweet Sixteen.

7 points for every correct answer in the Round of the Elite 8.

9 points for every correct answer in the Round of the Final Four.

11 points if you have picked the Championship Winner.

For a total of 177 possible points. 

7. The tiebreaker is the total number of points scored in the Championship Game without exceeding the number. The second tiebreaker is the person who submitted their completed form first. Ties on individual placing are determined by the time the form was submitted as well.

8. The Leaderboard is updated after each round is over.

9. A Grand Prize will be awarded to the person who correctly guesses every team.

10. In order to qualify for the Grand Prize all tournament games must be played. In case more than one player has the same bracket, the one with the closes guess to the actual score will be awarded the winning prize.

11. The player needs to remain active throughout the tournament, meaning that he has to play during all rounds.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Here are the important dates for the 2012 tournament:

Selection Sunday: March 11, 2012.

First Four (Formerly Opening Round Game): March 13-14, 2012 (This round will not be taken into consideration for the NCAAB 2012 Tournament Points)

The following dates will be taken into consideration for the Tournament Points:

Second Round: March 15-17, 2012.

Third Round: March 16-18, 2012.

Fourth Round: March 22-24, 2012.

Regional Finals: March 23-25, 2012.

Final Four: March 31 & April 2, 2012 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
