Bookies residing in the Toronto, Canada area will want to cut their losses through the use of a Pay Per Head service offering live wagering.

Toronto bookies are getting beaten up badly as local gamblers will wager on their home town Blue Jays no matter the price.

Granted, the Jays series win over Texas was not exactly a sweep.  They won the last three of five games (losing the first two).   Bookies did get a reprieve during those first two games, however, many gamblers shied away from betting on Toronto at -230 in Game One.

By offering live wagering, bookmakers are more likely to improve their profit margin to offset those simply betting the Toronto to win outright on the moneyline.

“It hasn’t been a total blood bath yet but local bookies who have taken action on the Jays to win the series outright have to be shaking in their shoes right about now,” suggests Dan Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Toronto beat the Rangers 6-3 on Jose Bautista's game-winning, three-run home run Wednesday night.  They now advance to play Kansas City.
