Significant Weather Impacts Likely for Some MLB Games - April 11, 2021

Dangerous weather here today in Central Florida as more storms were passing through this afternoon and showers are expected to linger.

The Toronto Blue Jays were set to host the LA Angels Sunday afternoon in Tampa with Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings issued right up until the evening hours.  The Blue Jays will be playing in Tampa during much of the spring it now appears.

Conditions include lots of cloud to ground lightning, heavy rains, winds and even some hail.

Storms were likely to become more scattered some time after 3 pm.

Elsewhere, the Marlins-Mets game could also come under threat of persistent showers with the rain getting heavier later in the day.
