David Bell has been dismissed as the Cincinnati Reds' manager following a disappointing 2024 campaign.

Bell, 52, received a three-year contract extension in July 2023 after the Reds surged into contention following a 100-loss season in 2022.  But ask any bettor and they'll tell you the Reds were one of the most inconsistent teams in the MLB this season.

"David provided the kind of steadiness that we needed in our clubhouse over the last few seasons," Reds president of baseball operations Nick Krall said in a statement. "We felt a change was needed to move the Major League team forward. We have not achieved the success we expected, and we need to begin focusing on 2025."

With a budding superstar in Elly De La Cruz, a fresh face in the manager’s seat could be exactly what Cincy needs to propel it to postseason status next season.

BetOnline.ag has assigned odds to nearly 20 names who could be considered candidates to become the next Reds' skipper. You can find the full list below.
