Gambling911.com has your MLB betting trends and some picks for Tuesday’s games.
Royals-Yankees – Aside from the last two games, 7 of the previous 8 games went OVER the current number of 8.5 with another game landing on the eight. Considering the last two landed on six runs, this series could be trending more towards the UNDER now so we will want to be careful.
Twins-Orioles – The UNDER is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Baltimore. The Twins RH Ervin Santana (6-2, 2.07 ERA) made his second poor showing in his last start and will likely be in top form here but is 4-5 with a 4.87 ERA in 15 career starts against Baltimore. Also don’t like the number going up from 8.5 to 9.
Giants-Cubs - The Giants are 2-9 in the last 11 meetings in Chicago. The Cubs were coming in around -165.
Cardinals-Dodgers – The total here is 7 after opening at 6.5 with the UNDER in the series going 11-5 in the last 16 meetings.
The UNDER is also 6-1 in Cardinals RH Lance Lynn’s (4-2, 2.78 ERA) last 7 starts vs. Dodgers. He’s coming off his first loss since April 11. He had worked at least six innings for the fifth time in his last six trips to the mound, with St. Louis winning all but one of these outings. He does own a 3-1 career mark in six starts versus the Dodgers.
The Dodgers LH Clayton Kershaw (7-2, 2.15) is 6-5 with a 3.18 ERA in 15 outings against St. Louis.
The UNDER is also 6-1 in Dodgers last 7 vs. National League Central. The UNDER is 15-7-1 in Lynn’s last 23 road starts and 11-4 in his last 15 starts following a team loss in their previous game. The UNDER is 19-9-1 in Kershaw’s last 29 starts overall.
Note: The Cardinals are 9-0 in their last 9 road games and are a huge underdog here.
