Angels-Tigers Betting Trends

PITCHING MATCHUP: Angels RH Jesse Chávez (4-6, 4.68 ERA) vs. Tigers LH Daniel Norris (2-3, 4.47)

Total Trending – This one opened at 10 at some books but most have held at 9.

Nine of the last ten games in this series have gone UNDER the current total of 9.

The UNDER is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings.

The UNDER is 34-16-1 in Angels last 51 road games and 9-4-1 in Angels last 14 games following an off day.

The UNDER is 7-2-1 in Tigers last 10 vs. American League West.

Chavez followed up one of his worst outings of the season with perhaps his best, although he had to settle for a no-decision after tossing seven innings of one-run ball against Atlanta on Wednesday. He has surrendered 14 homers over 65 1/3 innings, thus helping to push up the total for this game in a series that has resulted in no more than seven runs in the last eight meetings.

The total in Detroit games has also consistently been listed at nine or greater in the last ten as a result of their high scoring.

Norris' winless streak reached five starts last time out when he worked five innings and gave up three runs on six hits at Kansas City.
