Nevada Summerlin South Little League World Series Payout Odds to Win
Nevada will pay out $525 for every $100 bet should they go on to win the 2025 Little League World Series.
The U.S. championship game will be between Connecticut and Nevada after the latter defeated South Carolina on Thursday. Saturday's championship game will be a rematch, as Connecticut beat Nevada on Wednesday to punch its tickets.
SJ Taxiltaridis was a key player in Fairfield's 7-3 comeback victory, driving in tying runs and pitching into the sixth inning. D'Amura later hit a home run to extend Fairfield's lead. Fairfield National, representing Connecticut, remained undefeated in the tournament with this win.
Summerlin South defeated Southeast Region champs Irmo, South Carolina, on Thursday to make it to the big game.
From the Sun Gazette:
Gallegos lived a dream Thursday night at Lamade Stadium, slamming a go-ahead, three-run sixth inning home run which helped Las Vegas rally past Irmo, South Carolina, 5-3 at the Little League World Series. Now, Las Vegas is a victory from becoming the country’s best team and will play Fairfield Connecticut for the U.S. Championship Saturday afternoon. It will be just the second time, and first since 2014, that a Nevada team has done so.
“A big part of it is 80 % focus and 20 % fury. That 80 % tonight was we had a big guy over here (Gallegos) take care of a ball tonight but we needed to get guys on base,” Las Vegas manager TJ Fechser said. “We worked good pitches, we took good at-bats. That encompasses that whole thinking.”
