Hitters:

Toronto vs. Baltimore - Baltimore’s Chris Davis, Adam Jones and Delmon Young have all been hot against Toronto pitcher Mark Buehrie. The Blue Jays are 1-5 in Buehrle’s last 6 starts vs. Orioles.  Baltimore went 1-2 in Buehrie’s three starts last season. 

The Blue Jays did go 11-1 in Beuhrie’s first twelve starts. 

Washington vs. Philadelphia - Philadelphia’s Ben Revere, Darin Ruf and Jeff Francoeur have each been hot versus Gio Gonzalez. 

New York Mets vs. Atlanta – Freddie Freeman, Kelly Johnson and Andrelton Simmons have all enjoyed success versus Jon Niese.

St. Louis vs. CincinnatiJason Marquis has had difficulties pitching against St. Louis batters in the past.  Jason Hayward and Mark Reynolds are batters to watch in this matchup.

Pitchers:

Dan Haren of the Marlins, Jason Vargas of the Royals and Tim Lincecum of the Giants have all pitched especially well versus opposing hitters they will face in Friday’s games.
