The Tigers starting Jordan Zimmerman (4-0, 0.35) are just a -121 favorite despite his stellar record.  The betting public is feasting on this number at just shy of a 90 percent clip.

Zimmermann finally allowed his first run of the season his last start, bringing his ERA to 0.35 through four starts.

Despite the strong start, two of four games Zimmerman has started have gone over 10 runs scored.  Remarkably, today’s total is 8.5.   The OVER is 41-19-4 in Detroit’s last 64 road games.

Zimmerman had tossed seven scoreless in his lone start against Minnesota in 2013.

The 25-year-old boasts a 5-1 record with a 3.05 ERA in his first 11 major-league starts while allowing only five home runs in 62 innings. Duffey limited the Tigers to three runs in 12 1/3 innings in a pair of wins last September.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
