Both the Marlins and Cubs have played fairly well of late with Chicago still the current favorites to win this year’s World Series.  The Marlins enter this game with a solid 57-48 record.

Miami has won six of the last ten games in this series.

MONDAY’S PITCHING MATCHUP: Marlins LH Adam Conley (7-5, 3.38 ERA) vs. Cubs RH Kyle Hendricks (9-7, 2.39)

Conley extended his unbeaten streak to five starts Wednesday, improving to 3-0 in that span by scattering eight hits over 6 2/3 scoreless innings against Philadelphia.  He has never faced the Cubs.

Hendricks, meanwhile, is on a six-start unbeaten streak.  He has split his two career decisions against Miami, is 7-1 with a 1.36 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in 11 contests (10 starts) at home this year.
