If Arizona were a better team we would be all over the UNDER in this series.  The UNDER, after all, has gone 8-0 in Arizona in this series.

Herein lies the problem: Arizona is 36-45 versus a Giants team that is 50-31 on the season thus far.  The Diamondbacks have allowed 8 or more runs in five of their last six games and five or more in seven of their last eight games.

Arizona starter Shelby Miller is 2-2 with a 2.65 ERA in six career starts against San Francisco and lost to the Giants on May 13, when he gave up three runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Miller (2-7, 6.79) has managed to allow a mere 15 hits off of 81 at bats versus this current Giants lineup with a single home run during this span.

In seven of his last ten games he allowed three or fewer runs but is coming off of one of his worst starts of the season, giving up 11 hits, seven earned runs and a walk over six innings in Saturday's 11-6 loss to the Rockies. (Sun Jun 26)
