You will be able to bet on all College Football teams from the Mountaineer Casino once their sports book is up and running. Online sports betting will only be available via internationally-licensed wagering firms for the foreseeable future.

So far, West Virginia is one of a handful of states that allows sports betting after the US Supreme Court ruled to abolish decades long restrictions.  States are required to amend their current laws where necessary however.

The Mountaineer Casino is one of five in the state preparing for the upcoming football season after the state approved legalized sports wagering.

New Jersey and Mississippi are among the states that have opened sports books.  While Mississippi does not have any rule preventing bets on College Football teams, New Jersey will not allow books to offer wagering on games featuring either Rutgers or Seton Hall.  Gamblers will presumably be able to place futures bets on their favorite team along with countless player props.  Lines on local college teams will likely be shaded, making the international websites more attractive under these circumstances.

The casino has been interviewing potential vendors and working with contractors on the sports book design.

Its location is ideal, just 45 minutes outside of Pittsburgh and an hour from Youngstown.  Canton, Ohio is an hour-and-twenty minutes away.
