Will There Be In-State Betting on Baseball in Texas?
There are not likely to be in-state sportsbooks in Texas any time soon. Though the US Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting nationally, Texas must amend its own laws. Lawmakers here have not made this a priority, especially since Texas is among the least friendly gambling states in the US. For now, residents will need to rely on a few dozen offshore sportsbooks.
