Where Can I Bet the NFL Online From Maryland?

You can bet the NFL online from Maryland using BetOnline.  The site is accessible to those 18 and up for wagering and offers a generous welcome bonus ($1000 max bonus).  BetOnline has been in business since 1999.

Baltimore Ravens

As of October 12, 2020, the Ravens promised a $500 payout for every $100 bet to win the Super Bowl.

Anxious for In-State Betting

Though BetOnline is accessible from the state of Maryland, the site is not based there.

It has been reported that gambling companies have spent more than $2 million trying to persuade Maryland voters to approve sports betting, according to the latest campaign finance reports.

The Baltimore Sun reports that DraftKings and FanDuel, two online betting companies that stand to make money off sports betting, have about $486,000 left of the $2.75 million they’ve put into a group called “Vote Yes on Question 2.”

The state’s casinos and the Maryland Jockey Club have been offering free on-site advertising, social media and mailings for a group in favor of sports betting that they’re calling “Fund Our Future.”

The Maryland Jockey Club, the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, Hollywood Casino Perryville and Maryland Live! Casino and Hotel contributed a combined $32,300 Fund Our Future. But very little of that cash has been spent.

If Ballot Question 2 is approved in the Nov. 3 election, Maryland would join neighboring jurisdictions Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia in allowing sports wagering that has proliferated as the nation’s attitudes toward gambling have relaxed.

Here is now the ballot measure appears:

A "yes" vote supports authorizing sports and events wagering at certain licensed facilities with state revenue intended to fund public education.

A "no" vote opposes authorizing sports and events wagering at certain licensed facilities.
