The NFC West-leading Cardinals (9-2) were sitting atop the conference standings and had a bye in Week 12.

They showed their depth by winning two of the past three games even while missing offensive playmakers: quarterback Kyler Murray and wideout DeAndre Hopkins. Arizona has a balanced offense and the league’s fifth-ranked defense.

Colt McCoy led the Cardinals to a decisive 23-13 victory over the Seahawks prior to their bye.
