The LA Rams kicker Matt Gay missing a field goal in Super Bowl 56 pays out just shy of $250 for every $100 bet.
In the 2021 NFC Divisional Playoff game, also against the Buccaneers, he went 3 for 3 on extra point kicks and converted three of his four field goal tries, leading the Rams to the NFC Championship Game.
Gay is priced at -130 to make OVER 7.5 total points and EVEN to make UNDER.
Gay is part of a special teams crew that has improved dramatically for the Rams.
His 30-yard field goal as time expired against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent the Rams into the NFC championship game against the 49ers and proved to be the most important special teams play of the year for the Rams.
But unlike the Bengals Evan McPherson, who is so far perfect in the post season, Gay did miss one against Tampa Bay. That was a 47-yard attempt in the fourth quarter that would have increased the Rams’ lead to 30-13.
