What is the Payout if the Buffalo Bills Win Versus Kansas City Chiefs - AFC Championship

The books have the Sunday late game between Buffalo and Kansas City as tight as they come.  BetOnline hadn't moved off the KC -3 all week and we've only seen one or two books move up a half point to the -3.5 for a good five minutes.

So let's check out the results for NFL games this season that have mostly stayed on the home team -3 (starting on Week 3 and not taking into account Week 17).

Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings - The Vikings won by 34-20.  The line had dropped from Vikings -4 earlier in the week.  The line only closed at -3 the hours ahead of kickoff, so this is not the best comparison.

The New York Giants vs. Washington Football Team game is a much better comparable with the line mainly hanging at Washington -3 the full week.  The dog, New York, won by 3.

New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Bucs - The -3 didn't show up until the final hours ahead of kickoff.  In fact, the line dropped a full point on Game Day.  The dog, New Orleans, won 38-3.

Buffalo Bills vs. Arizona Cardinals - This one closed at -3 most books the final day after shifting between -2.5 and -3.  Arizona won but failed to cover with the final score 32-30.

Carolina Panthers vs. Minnesota Vikings - Minnesota opened -3.5 and two days prior to Game Day sat on the -3.  Minnesota opens, but by just one point and failing to cover as a result.

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears - This one hung on 3 most of the week with little movement at BetOnline.  Detroit, the dog, won 34-30.

Washington Football Team vs. San Francisco 49ers -  San Francisco was a -3 favorite throughout much of the week and ultimately lost 15-23

LA Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks had the Seahawks as a -3 home favorite the 48 hours leading up to kickoff with the line previously at -4 and -3.5.  Seattle lost 20-30.

Tampa Bay Bucs vs. New Orleans Saints - The line was -3 New Orleans all week at Bovada.  New Orleans lost  20-30.

Last year we had no move off the -3 in a game between the Houston Texans and Tennesee Titans.  Houston won that as the +3 dog 24-21.

Tampa Bay was a solid -3 versus Indianapolis last year with the final score Tampa winning by three points.

The Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers game last season was an exception to these other trends above with the 49ers winning 37-8 and the line not moving off the 3.

Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns - This one did start the week at -2.5 but closed the final 48 hours -3.  Cleveland won by three points.

BetOnline had the Cowboys as a -3 favorite all week with Minnesota winning 28-24.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Seattle Seahawks - The line was -3.5 and moved to -3 mid week.  Baltimore won 30-16.

The Cowboys had been a -2.5 favorite before closing at -3 the final hours before kickoff against Philadelphia.  Dallas did win 37-10.

The Rams were a solid 3 point favorite the five days leading up to kickoff versus San Francisco.  It was the 49ers who won this game 20-7.

Another beauty: Cincinnati was a -3 favorite for the four days leading up to kickoff with no movement.  Arizona wins 26-23.

Another exception to the above trends: New Orleans was a solid -3 favorite all week but Tampa did win by seven points.  We would caution that the line opened at between -5.5 and -6.5 before quickly moving down to -3 and staying there.

Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans -  Tennessee lost by seven points with the line steady on -3.

Gambling911.com will be on the Buffalo Bills +3 today.  This doesn't mean we don't think Kansas City is not going to the Super Bowl.  We think there is a good chance the Chiefs still win by 1 or 2 points.  Chiefs to win by 1-3 pts  pays $550 for every $100 bet incidentally.

Patrick Mahomes passed concussion protocol but is dealing with another problem: Turf toe.

It involves the plantar plate and ligaments in the big toe and can sometimes sideline a player.  Mahomes is dealing with this issue in his left foot, but it doesn’t appear to be severe, at least that's what we are being told.
