Dustin Johnson was coming in at 14-1 odds to win this year's Masters Tournament.  That means a payout of $1400 on a $100 bet.

An American professional golfer, Johnson has won two major championships, the 2016 U.S. Open and the 2020 Masters Tournament.

By virtue of his 2020 Travelers Championship win, Johnson became the third player in Tour history to win a Tour title in each of his first 13 seasons, joining Jack Nicklaus (17) and Tiger Woods (14).

“It’s very hard to win on Tour and to do it every year for quite a while is even more difficult, but hard work goes into it," he said. " I have a great team around me and my family supporting me and letting me do what I need to do to be successful is so key – everybody involved in your life is part of your team and thus a big part of your success."

In February 2017 Johnson became the world number 1-ranked golfer and remained there for 64 consecutive weeks, the 5th longest run as number 1.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
