BetOnline has released odds on Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's next career move.

Gronkowski announced his retirement via Instagram on Sunday.

By Monday morning, BetOnline had Gronk favored to fight in the WWE next at near EVEN odds.

Gronkowski called Patriots owner Robert Kraft Sunday to inform him of his decision to retire, a team source said.

Gronkowski had 79 touchdown receptions since he joined the Patriots as a second-round draft choice in 2010 led the NFL. He had 10 or more touchdown receptions in five seasons, which is the most by a tight end in NFL history.  He also had 521 receptions for 7,861 yards.

Gronkowski's 12 postseason touchdown receptions are tied for second in NFL history among all players, behind that of Jerry Rice (22).

The Patriots were now at 8-1 odds of winning the 2020 Super Bowl.  These odds are second shortest after the Chiefs at +750.
