The race is run on 1 1⁄8 miles (9 furlongs) of dirt with four-year-olds and up qualifying.  It features a $3 million purse.

Thursday night's rains have made way for plenty of sunshine throughout the weekend here in the Miami area where this race is set to take place: Gulfstream Park.

The two early favorites, Omaha Beach and Spun to Run, have been scratched, thus altering the makeup of this race. 

Spun to Run was scratched due to a skin irritation.  Omaha Beach has been pulled due to light swelling in his right hind fetlock.
