What Happened to the Covers.com Sports Handicappers, Picks Experts?

On Monday it was revealed exclusively by WagerTalk.com that Covers had shut down its decades old expert picks and handicapping services.

As of Monday July 18, the picks section (along with ways to send money) remained on the site. Larry Ness, Marc Lawrence and Lee Sterling were among those handicappers still listed.

Our friend, Lawrence "The Prez" Prezman, broke the news around the 5 minute spot below.

"It is big news," a jubilant Prez declared.  "Covers, a website that I absolutely love, flat out love.  I use their matchups on a regular basis.  This is a site that has been in my life for 20 years, I probably visit Covers once a day.  That's how important this site has been to me personally.  Well, they are closing their picks service."

Some of the cappers, Prezman revealed, are moving to WagerTalk.

Actually, most of them it seems.

"We are bringing almost their entire team over Guys," the Prez announced.

Three were signed to exclusive contracts to WagerTalk on July 18.  If you like these cappers and are looking for them on Covers, you'll need to head on over to WagerTalk.

They include Jazz Ray, Brian Power (no losing season in ten years) and, perhaps the biggest catch of all, Ben Burns.
