For a long time the Tote has rather relied on its status of being ‘good for racing’, and while that is still very much true, the product is now very competitive, especially during World Pool days which are everyday of Royal Ascot. Now, the UK Tote has added a competitive edge to the traditional fare. - The Exacta almost always pays out higher than that of the Computer Straight Forecast (and the bet is especially interesting in small field races which racing is seeing a lot of at the moment)
- The 10 minutes leading up to a race is when the vast majority of win and each-way bets are placed. It really does now pay to take a glance at the UK Tote App/Screen/Site in this period. This is ‘Tote Time’ and tangibly worth those seeking value
- No stake limit
- No punter is restricted or barred, hence most professional/shrewd horseracing punters now use the Tote
- World Pool Races are enjoyed by a lot of overseas punters whose choices are primarily ‘jockey-lead’ so if you fancy a horse not ridden by Ryan Moore or Frankie then there is value to be had
