Pipe Bomb Found Outside Casino: Subject Apprehended

A man was arrested in connection with leaving a pipe bomb outside the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma last week.

Investigators say 32-year-old Zachary Schmidt left an improvised explosive device outside the hotel late night January 11 before going inside.

Security found the unattended bag that contained the pipe bomb and contacted authorities.

A motive is unclear at this time.
