The Titans still aren't among the top tier of Super Bowl favorites, but the acquisition of Julio Jones greatly improved their title chances, at least according to the oddsmakers.  BetOnline, for example, dropped Tennessee from 40-1 to 25-1 after Jones was traded.

Odds on Jones next team were offered in recent weeks following the wide receiver's public displeasure playing for the Atlanta Falcons.

In the end, Atlanta pried Jones loose with a couple of draft picks, the highest being a second-rounder.

“We felt like it was good value for us, and Atlanta felt like it was good value for them obviously or they wouldn’t have done the trade,” Titans general manager Jon Robinson said Sunday, hours after the teams announced the deal.

And the sportsbooks agree with the value assessment.

Here are all the ways the trade impacted the Titans’ futures odds:

Super Bowl: 40-1 to 25-1

AFC: 20-1 to 12-1

AFC South: +150 to +110 (now co-favorites with Colts)

Victory total: 9 wins to 9.5 wins

Tannehill MVP: 40-1 to 25-1

On the flip side, the Falcons' Super Bowl odds jumped from 50-1 to 66-1 while Matt Ryan's MVP odds moved from 28-1 to 40-1.
