Tiger Woods was injured in a single-car rollover crash on Tuesday morning shorly after 7 am in Los Angeles, police announced.
Woods has sustained significant injuries deemed "moderate" to "critical". His rep advised ESPN that Tiger has suffered some serious leg injuries and is currently undergoing surgery.
Police said he was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.
Police said Woods had to be extracted from the vehicle with the “jaws of life.”
Tiger was believed to be the only person in his car and it has been confirmed this was a one-car accident.
Woods was in LA for a shoot involving Golf Digest and a shoot with Golf TV.
