Texas Longhorns Predictions, Payout Odds - March Madness 2022

The Texas Longhorns entered this season with high expectations, but it turned out disappointing.  The Longhorns finished the season 21-11 Straight Up.  They were just 12-20 Against The Spread and will face a Virginia Tech team that sneaked into the NCAA Tournament with an impressive late season run as a -1 favorite.  We have the line 1.5 and the books actually opened this one at -2.

In non-conference games the Longhorns have gone 11-2 Straight Up (84.6%) and as a favorite they were 19-5 SU (79.2%).

They have played in the NIT Tournament in recent years and went 5-0 Straight Up there.

Texas won the 1988 and 2012 NCAA National Championships, with runner-up finishes in 1995, 2009, 2015, and 2016.

As an away dog going back to 2017, the Longhorns Round 1 opponent West Virginia has gone 11-24 (31.4%).

Texas mostly lost games they were supposed to but this should not be one of them.  Go with Texas here.
