Team to Score First Wins the Super Bowl Prop Bet - 2022

The team that scores first in a Super Bowl wins the big game more often.  This option will always be favored, and with good reason. 

Heading into Super Bowl 2018, teams that scored first in the Super Bowl had a combined record of 34–16, a 68% winning percentage. In the last seven Super Bowls (including that year), teams were 6–1 when putting points on the board first.

Other popular first score prop bets include the type of scoring play (touchdown, field goal or safety).   A field goal being scored in Super Bowl 56 pays out $150 for every $100 bet while the touchdown is favored at -200.
