Shaquem Griffin was favored to be selected during the 4th, 5th or 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft, with each paying just shy of $30 for every $10 bet.
Griffin is an American football linebacker. Shaquem and his twin brother Shaquill both played college football for the University of Central Florida Knights.
Griffin's ability to play football without a left hand has made him the talk of the NFL draft.
"One day, I'm going to be called Shaquem Griffin, the football player. Not Shaquem Griffin, the one-handed wonder. I don't need that name."
Griffin’s left hand was amputated when he was 4 due to amniotic band syndrome.
He doesn't consider his condition a handicap.
"I don't like any words like that," Griffin said. "You've got a disability or handicap, that means you're limited to certain things. I'm not limited to nothing. I can do anything anybody else can do."
