Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Returns to Hollywood, Fla.  Beginning April 4

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Poker action returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. with the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicking off on Thursday, April 4.

Primary events open with a $570 buy-in Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em featuring a $1 Million Guaranteed prize pool. As a main stop for the World Poker Tour, the series will conclude with the $3,500 WPT® Showdown Championship boasting a $3 Million Guarantee.

The WPT Showdown Championship runs Friday, April 12 through Tuesday, April 16 with the final six players set to reconvene on Thursday, May 30 at HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor in Las Vegas. There, they will play down to a winner in front of a live audience and a slew of television cameras for future airing on FOX Sports Regional Networks. New to Season XVII, this final table structure places Seminole Hard Rock Poker front and center in the industry.

In addition to the Championship, other highlight events in this year’s 2019 Poker Showdown tournament schedule include:

  • $1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry), $250,000 Guaranteed, Monday, April 8 – Wednesday, April 10
  • $50,000 Super High Roller (Single Re-Entry), $1 Million Guaranteed, Wednesday, April 10 – Thursday, April 11
  • $25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry), $2 Million Guaranteed, Monday, April 15 – Tuesday, April 16
  • $5,000 No Limit Hold’em One-Day (Re-Entry), $200,000 Guaranteed, Tuesday, April 16

In total, the 2019 Poker Showdown features 79 events inclusive of 29 trophy events.
