Mariners Betting Analysis

The Seattle Mariners have been holding their own with a 44-39 record.

Recent MLB Betting Trends: The Mariners have won seven of their last ten games overall.

Upcoming Series Trends

vs Texas Rangers (July 1-4)

  • Seattle is 13-2 vs. Texas

vs New York Yankees (July 6-8)

  • Yankees are 27-8 in the last 35 meetings versus Seattle

Starting Pitchers

Marco Gonzales (1-4, 5.10 ERA) - Mariners activated LHP Marco Gonzales from the paternity leave list.

Chris Flexen (6-3, 3.97 ERA) Flexen yielded three runs in five innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Blue Jays.  He is coming off two no-decisions.

Justus Sheffield (5-7, 5.88 ERA)

Saturday Analysis (July 3)

Marco Gonzales (1-4, 5.10 ERA) returns and will face off against Jordan Lyles (3-5, 5.12).  Lyles allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with four strikeouts over seven innings in a 4-1 win over the Royals on Sunday but NBC Sports Edge does not have him as a recommended option against all but the worst lineups as a streamer, and this is a decent Mariners squad. Joey Gallo has two homeruns off of Lyles and is tied for 7th most homers this season.

Gambling911.com will be on Seattle -160 here.  You may be able to find them at a better price.

Sunday Analysis (July 4)

Chris Flexen (6-3, 3.97 ERA) off two no-decisions and pitching well.   His last loss was Jun 9, allowing 7 hits against the Athletics.  This one was priced early at Seattle -135.  Mike Foltynewicz (2-7, 5.17 ERA) is starting for Texas and is coming off a win.  Prior to that, he had a no-decision.

We can't help but see value here especially with Seattle dominating Texas of late.  We're on Seattle -135.

Tuesday Analysis (July 6)

Despite the Yankees woes, we would want to refrain from betting on the Mariners in this series due to the poor recent (2019 and prior) performance against New York.

Wednesday Analysis (July 7)

Despite the Yankees woes, we would want to refrain from betting on the Mariners in this series due to the poor recent (2019 and prior) performance against New York.

Thursday Analysis (July 8)

Despite the Yankees woes, we would want to refrain from betting on the Mariners in this series due to the poor recent (2019 and prior) performance against New York.
