There are indications that the bookmakers believe Russell Wilson may be on his way out of Seattle and heading to the Chicago Bears.  The payout?  $1500 on a $100 bet.

The Signs

Betting Analyst for Fox Sports, Sam Panayotovich, tweeted out:

"We saw sportsbooks take down Russell Wilson "next team" betting odds yesterday. Books also shortened the Bears future odds to win the division, conference and title. One bookmaker just told me: 'I’ve done a full 180. I’m all aboard the Russ to Chicago hype train.' Oh snap."

ESPN’s Dianna Russini said on “Get Up!” that there are people around the NFL who believe there is a good chance Wilson could be traded this offseason.

The oddsmakers at BetOnline did not initially anticipate Wilson wearing a different team uniform come Week 1 of the 2021 regular NFL season.  The Seahawks odds remain good with a $2200 payout on a $100 bet.

Sports anchor was told Wilson is likely to leave, but a trade to Chicago would not be an easy one.

"Just talked to someone close to the Russell Wilson situation and they told me, they don’t think he’s leaving SEA. BUT IF there’s a Russ trade to CHI, the #Bears would have to give SEA whatever they want. I say all that to say...this pic below is a possibility. (Just not in #3)"
