Resorts Atlantic City Sportsbook to Open This Week
  • The new sportsbook is slated to open in Atlantic City Wednesday morning
  • Resorts would be the first sportsbook offering mobile wagering as well
  • There are already six sportsbooks operating in AC

David Danzis of the Atlantic City Press broke the news Monday afternoon via Twitter.

.@ResortsCasino will be opening sports book on property Wednesday morning, pending regulatory approval, making it the first AC casino with both land-based and online sports betting

Resorts has deals with the Stars Group, which is looking to penetrate the Pennsylvania market, Draftkings, which already has an online sportsbook app available through its relationship with the Meadowlands Racetrack, and SBTech.

Once up and running, the Resorts sportsbook would become the 7th to operate out of Atlantic City.
