Just got robbed at gunpoint at @wsop Pavilion parking lot of the Rio.Guy jumped out of car in camouflage, shoved a gun in my face and demanded my backpack with thousands in it and the keys to my car. scariest moment of my life #wsop2019 #wsop @CaesarsEnt retweet for awareness.

He later added:

Literally the clip of a gun that was shoved in my face was under my car after he fled in his car . Las Vegas police now has it but they say “it could take weeks”and “thats CSI type stuff” @WSOP @CaesarsEnt

Salvatore detailed how it all went down.

Was playing uncapped 2/5 last night in the Rio poker room. Had 4k in big chips , and grabbed 500 in cash for remainder of my stack after coloring up. I tossed the chips into my chip container inside my bookbag and walked out.  My car was parked down at wsop

At 4:05 in the morning I walked out of the Rio. 10/15 cars Max were her at that time of the morning. After a 10 hour session I was delirious and clicked the alarm button to locate my car . Upon finding my car I went down the small set of steps to find my car.

It was at what point a red 4 door car pulled up to me . A white middle aged man , average build , with beard , got out of car, fun in hand , shoves it in my chest and said “ give me your fucking bag”. Without resistance I give him the bag. He then instructed me to give him the

Car keys. As I did so , I was now crouched down agaisnt my open car door, he got back in his 4 door red car and drove off towards the employee parking area of the pavilion parking lot.

One one security vehicle was to be found in the lot . After collecting myself , I ran back up the wsop steps and into convention center. Again no one could be found. I saw a waiter who then called security and two men came down to me in the poker kitchen.

Las Vegas police was not notified for almost an hour by Rio security . The police upon Arrival asked why they were not contacted . Rio security replied “we were on hold”
