"I’m fine," he reassured his followers via Twitter.  "During the pandemic, I didn’t want to see a dentist! My back right upper tooth started hurting months ago, but small pain, so I ignored it. Saturday night the pain ratcheted up. Luckily, Advil disappeared the pain, and today went to dentist. I had a 'Bad infection'.

"Luckily, the 'Bad infection' was caught today right before it hit my sinus nerves (it was deep). I did have to have a root canal, and am taking Antibiotics. I’m 100% fine, but I am concerned about those of you in the same boat. If you have any pain, go see your dentist!"

An abscessed tooth can cause very serious consequences including tooth loss, jaw bone damage, sinus involvement, brain infection, heart complications and even death.
