The Brooklyn Nets will be getting All-NBA star Kevin Durant, who plans to sign a four-year, $164 million contract.  Durant will join free agents Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, who also plan to sign with the franchise, league sources told ESPN.  This will make the Nets the hottest NBA team in New York City, not that the Knicks have been very good.

Some books still had the Nets with long odds overnight Sunday, most out of Europe.  The majority of US-facing books had taken the NBA futures off the board.

5Dimes did still have the Nets winning the Championship at 15/1 odds.

Bovada and Heritage had Brooklyn winning at 18/1 odds.

A Durant and Irving tandem should have the Nets among the top three favorites along with the Lakers by Monday afternoon.
