Matusow, Negreanu, Hellmuth Going Deep Together for First Time in 25 Years
This year's Dealers' Choice Tournament at the 2021 World Series of Poker is among the most star-studded events in years.
Mike Matusow explained why via Twitter:
"Wow what a day! 10 left in the dealers choice with @themouthmatusow, @RealKidPoker and @phil_hellmuth at same table deep in a tourney for 1st time in 25 yrs playing together! Who ever catches cards and plays great is gonna win! I called my shot! It’s my time! #positivity."
For Hellmuth, he's gunning for his 17th record WSOP bracelet win.
The defending champion for this tournament is Adam Friedman, who came out on top of a field of 122 entries in 2019. He defeated Shaun Deeb in heads-up to claim his third career bracelet and walked away with the top prize of $312,417 and made history after winning the very same tournament in back-to-back years.
