“I have an important announcement to make about my 12-year run, which is an incredible run, with PokerStars,” the 6-time WSOP bracelet winner said in a video posted to Twitter. “It was a great run, but [I’m] no longer going to be an ambassador for the company.”

PokerStars has been parting ways with a number of pros in recent months. They include Jason Mercier, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Selbst, Bertrand Grospellier, Randy Lew, Victor Ramdin, and Jeff Gross.  Some of these pros have switched over to PartyPoker.

Chris Moneymaker remains the only pro on the PokerStars payroll from the so-called "glory days" of Internet poker.
