Nebraska Head Coach Under NCAA Probe

The Action Network is reporting that the Huskers program and head coach Scott Frost are being investigated for “improper use of analysts and consultants during practices and games.

Oddsmakers already have the Huskers season in peril, and this probe probably won't help matters.  Nebraska is favored to win fewer that 6 regular season games in 2021.

The school, sources said, has “significant video footage” confirming the practice violations took place in the presence of Frost and other assistants.

Among the possible NCAA penalties Nebraska could receive include Frost’s suspension for an unknown number of games as they are set to open the 2021 season against Illinois on Saturday, Aug. 28.

Since taking over the program, Frost has gone a disappointing 12-20.  Nebraska could presumably fire Frost with cause.  His buyout contract now sits in the range of $20 million.
