With that victory over Novak Djokovic, Nadal earned his ninth Italian Open title with a 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 victory over the world No. 1 in Rome.

Djokovic and Nadal will be the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively, in the second major of the year at Roland Garros later this month.

Djokovic would have paid out $330 for every $100 bet with a victory.
