Twelve of the 16 games in Week 17, the last of the NFL regular season, have some level of playoff implication. Whether they feature teams fighting for playoff berths or a first-round bye, that’s a high number of meaningful games.

In the AFC, Kansas City has clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and the conference’s lone bye. The NFC still has three teams in contention for the bye, with Green Bay controlling its own destiny.

Three NFC teams are vying for two Wild Card spots, while three NFC East teams are still alive for the division title. The AFC South is still up for grabs, as well as all three Wild Card positions.

There will be plenty of scoreboard watching, with games impacting multiple teams occurring at the same time. The last game of the season will determine the winner of the NFC East, regardless of the outcome.

Washington Football Team at Philadelphia Eagles (-4.0)

No matter what happens earlier in the day, Washington needs a win Sunday night to capture the NFC East. Philadelphia has been eliminated while its quarterback controversy continues.

Washington released quarterback Dwayne Haskins, with Alex Smith still nursing a sore calf but possibly starting at the position.

Prediction: Washington 23, Philadelphia 20.

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-5.5)

The Dolphins can clinch a playoff spot with a win but aren’t eliminated with a loss. If Baltimore, Cleveland or Indianapolis lose, Miami still clinches a berth.

The Bills have clinched the division and can sew up the second seed in the AFC with a victory.

Prediction: Buffalo 27, Miami 24.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-4.5)

The winner of this game will be in the playoffs, but the Rams can still advance with a loss. If they can’t beat the Cardinals, they’ll need Green Bay to defeat Chicago.

For the Cardinals, it’s win or go home.

Prediction: Los Angeles 28, Arizona 24.

Green Bay Packers (-4.5) at Chicago Bears

The Packers have plenty to play for as they can wrap up the top seed with a win. The resurgent Bears have won three games in a row.

A win punches their postseason ticket, but they can also advance with an Arizona loss. They are sure to be a favorite of many cappers premium sports picks.

Prediction: Green Bay 27, Chicago 20.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants (-3.5)

It’s hard to believe that a team with 10 losses is actually favored to win its division. The winner of this game grabs the NFC East title in the event Philadelphia defeats Washington.

The Cowboys have been hot, and getting to the playoffs would ease the pressure on head coach Mike McCarthy.

Prediction: Dallas 24, New York Giants 21.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns (-4.0)

The Browns are looking to secure their first playoff berth since 2002. The clearest path is for Cleveland to beat the Steelers, who will be resting starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

The Browns can lose and still make it to the postseason with a loss by Indianapolis. A Tennessee loss along with wins by Miami and Baltimore would also work for Cleveland.

Prediction: Cleveland 30, Pittsburgh 24.
