The 2020 NFL season enters its final home stretch as a number of teams are still holding onto the hopes of an upcoming playoff berth. Only New Orleans and Kansas City have clinched playoff berths thus far.

A number of Week 14 games have serious playoff implications. Here’s a look at a few which just happen to be the best bets of the week.

Arizona (-2) at N.Y. Giants

Despite being 5-7, the Giants lead the NFC East and are on a four-game roll. The defense has stepped up and helped the Giants overcome poor offensive play. Some of that has been due to losing starting QB Daniel Jones, but Jones hasn’t really played all that well this season anyway.

Still, the Giants control their own destiny and will face Arizona (6-6) at home on Sunday. Unfortunately for New York, the Giants are not all that good when playing at home. In fact, since they moved to MetLife Stadium, Giants opponents are 49-34-2 ATS. That doesn’t provide a lot of confidence in the Giants.

On the other side, the Cardinals are in the midst of a three-game losing streak but they are still very much alive in the NFC playoff race. QB Kyler Murray dinged a shoulder which has limited his production the last few weeks.

Even so, the Cardinals are a strong road team under head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Arizona is 8-4-2 ATS under Kingsbury. This week, the Cardinals get back on the right track with a win and cover.

Washington (+3) at San Francisco

The Football Team is also still very much alive in the playoff race. Washington must keep pace with the Giants in an effort to win the NFC East. They will attempt to win their fourth straight at San Francisco.

After last week’s surprising win over Pittsburgh, this is not a bandwagon pick. Washington covering the spread at San Francisco is based on 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan’s record at home.

In his three-plus seasons as 49ers mentor, Shanahan is a horrific 3-11-1 ATS when his 49ers are a home favorite. Washington’s defense has been playing well and the Football Team may have a chance to win this one outright, but they will keep it close.

Saints @ Eagles UNDER 44

The Saints are already in the playoffs but would like to hold onto the No. 1 seed in the NFC to earn that first-round bye. They travel to Philadelphia on Sunday. The Eagles are in a state of disarray.

Starting QB Carson Wentz has been benched in favor of rookie Jalen Hurts. For New Orleans, it will be backup Taysom Hill once again despite Drew Brees being eligible to return. Hill has not lost as the Saints starter.

The Saints are 5-0 in their last five mainly because of a defense that has been dominating at times. New Orleans defense has given up just 44 points combined in its last five games.

The Saints defense, a rookie Eagles quarterback and a weather forecast that shows double-digit wind speeds lean this game to the Under. In the last 31 games in Philadelphia with winds of 10 mph or greater, the Under has hit 19 times.

We had a rough week last week, but check out our NFL Week 13 best bets.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
