And BookMaker.eu has a plethora of prop bets available to make the proceedings more interesting. Will Kyler Murray be the No. 1 overall pick? Who gets drafted second? How many quarterbacks are chosen in the first-round? If you think you have the answers drop some coin and win a few shekels.

The first round of the Draft takes place on Thursday, April 25 from Nashville, Tenn. The draft will span three days, cover seven rounds, be televised by the league’s media partners and include a total of 254 selections with compensatory picks included. All of the excitement, of course, takes place in the early rounds and at the very beginning of the Draft with the No. 1 overall pick.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the prop bets offered at BookMaker.eu.

Murray has been the favorite to go No. 1 overall since he declared and the Arizona Cardinals could use a player like him to run new coach Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. But there are a number of holes that need to be filled in the desert and the Cards already have a first-round QB on their roster. And that conundrum has sparked plenty of speculation about this pick.

I’m not a GM, but I see glaring needs on the Cardinals roster. It makes more sense for them to deal the selection for a package of picks that can help them right now as opposed to a few years down the road. And it appears as though the Cards have cooled on Murray’s status. But we see this every year with teams not wanting to tip their hand ahead of the draft.

Before his current gig, Kingsbury was quoted saying something to the effect that he would take Murray with the first overall pick if he had it. Well, now he does, and if he thinks Murray will help run his offense better than Josh Rosen, then the pick has to be made.

Pick: Kyler Murray

Which Team Will Josh Rosen be on Week 1 of 2019 Regular Season

Arizona Cardinals +156

Washington Redskins +169

New York Giants +533

Los Angeles Chargers +1280

New England Patriots +2541

Cincinnati Bengals +5000

Field (Any Other Team) +204

With Murray going to the Cards at No. 1, Rosen’s future in Arizona is clear. He’s not going to be there. There are several teams in need quarterback help and Rosen is a trade chip the Cards will use. The Cards are listed as the favorite to have Rosen on their roster when the regular starts. But there is no reason to keep two first-round QBs on the roster and the Cards will make a deal.

The Giants have plenty of draft capital and, more importantly, a need at the position with Eli Manning in the twilight of his career. Rosen excites the Giants brass more than any of the QBs available, and it’s a move that benefits both clubs with the Cards getting a few extra selections and the G-Men having their Manning exit-strategy in place.

Pick: New York Giants

How many QB's drafted in 1st round of 2019 NFL Draft

Over 3.5 -450

Under 3.5 +300

There are a number of quality defensive players available in the draft and they will get their payday. But no position gets as much attention as quarterback, so I’m sticking with the theme for one more prop. This year’s class isn’t nearly as rich as the 2018 crop when five signal-callers were selected in the first 10 picks, but there is some positional quality.

A lot depends on what the Cards do at No. 1. Drafting Murray and trading Rosen takes a first-rounder off the board, and with only four quarterbacks projected to go in the opening 32 picks, that could be devastating for the over. Washington and Miami need immediate help while the Giants, New England, Green Bay, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, and probably a few other teams are looking to groom a successor. But does that require a first-round pick? Murray and Dwayne Haskins are targeted first-rounders with Drew Locke and Daniel Jones on the bubble.
