The New Orleans Saints certainly look like the best team in the NFL after blowing out the defending champion Eagles for their ninth straight victory. And they finally convinced the oddsmakers as well, vaulting to the top of the updated Super Bowl LIII odds board at BookMaker.eu, overtaking the Los Angeles Rams, a team they beat by 10-points just a few weeks ago.

We saw why the Rams and Kansas City Chiefs are at the top of the odds list with their epic clash on Monday Night Football. Wouldn’t that be rematch for the ages in early February? Still, both teams need to clean up the defense after a combined 105 points were scored. We also saw the Bears improve their odds after taking control of the NFC North with a critical win over the Vikings on Sunday night. Chicago’s odds had improved gradually, but a victory over a team with a winning record was enough to push them to +1800. Washington, Cincinnati and Atlanta all tumbled on the list after losses last week.

Here’s a look at the current Super Bowl LII odds at BookMaker.eu after Week 11 of the 2018 NFL regular season.

We see why the Saints, Rams and Chiefs have been at the top of the odds board all season. Combined the teams are 28-4 with two of those losses coming in games they played against each other. New Orleans beat the L.A. a few weeks ago and the Rams won a colossal matchup with the Chiefs on Monday night. Unfortunately we don’t have a regular season contest between Kansas City and New Orleans. That will have to wait until February.

Three consecutive losses to open the season put the Houston Texans in a hole, but they have the longest winning streak of any AFC team after beating Washington for their seventh straight. They are still down on the odds board at +2750 but they are winning games in a variety of ways, and that gives them some value.

The Chiefs are the class of the AFC despite their loss on Monday night. They were ravaged by the Rams, but turnovers hurt them more. New England is hanging around in a familiar spot near the top of the list and the Pats come off their bye with a game against the Jets. It’s a good chance for them to put the disappointment of a 34-10 loss to Tennessee behind them.

Having won six straight games, the Steelers are right in the thick of the AFC hunt, tied with KC in the loss column. However, that tie game at Cleveland in the opener has them behind in the standings and on the odds board. Pittsburgh put Jacksonville out of its misery with a victory last week, getting some revenge on the team that bounded them from last postseason. A preseason favorite, the Jags have fallen hard and are just one game ahead of the Raiders for the AFC’s basement.

The NFC is top-heavy with the Rams and Saints followed by six teams that have between five and seven wins. And there’s another four teams that have four wins. The race just to make the playoffs is going to be exciting in that conference. The Bears showed off on primetime with an impressive defensive performance to beat the Vikings on Sunday. If you didn’t believe in them before that, you should definitely be doing so now.
