Arizona, Miami Among Most Wagered on Games for Upcoming Sweet 16

The Sweet 16 is set and Gambling911.com has your very early action for each game with live odds available here.

Most Bet On Sweet 16 Teams

Miami 81%

Arizona 79%

Villanova 78%

Gonzaga 74%

North Carolina 66%

Duke 63%

Providence 55%

Saint Peters 53%

The Hurricanes were seeing the most lopsided action on the spread. They will face off against Iowa State on Friday.

Miami had one of the more dominating performances of the tournament, beating a very good Number 2 seed Auburn 79-61.   They would pay $20,000 for every $100 bet to win the Championship heading into the tournament.

Miami head coach Jim Larranaga stood next to point guard Charlie Moore after the win and said. "He's our Chris Paul".

Miami also relied heavily on Moore and Kameron McGusty, and fearless sophomore Isaiah Wong, who are all 6-5 or shorter.

Wong had a game-high 21 points, McGusty scored 20 and Moore had 15 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.

“We just had a great night tonight,” said Sam Waardenburg, at 6-10, the tallest player in Miami's regular rotation. “It's what we can do every night.”

Arizona, meanwhile, got the job done against TCU with an 85-80 victory.

Bennedict Mathurin made a 3-pointer to force overtime and then scored six more points in the extra session.  Mathurin, the Pac-12 Player of the Year and a second-team AP All-American selection, finished with 30 points.

Christian Koloko added 28 points and 12 rebounds, including a putback dunk that slammed the door on the Horned Frogs with 9 seconds left in OT.

Not surprisingly, Saint Peters comes into this Sweet 16 round as the biggest dog at +12.5 against Purdue.
