Most Bet on Side (Early)

Louisville Cardinals - This is an early Noon Eastern Time game and the Cards were seeing the most action of any side early Saturday at all the books: 75% of the spread action as a -5 favorite.  The line movement we would expect to see here is something along the lines of -4 or -4.5 to -5.  Instead we are seeing this one drop from as high as -6 overnight.  While the home team has won the four most recent meetings, these teams have alternated wins and losses over that time frame. The Tigers had won four straight after losing by a one-point margin in their last game overall.  Sagarin indicates that the books had this line right initially when they opened at -6.  BetOnline and Bookmaker have both been a little more conservative Saturday morning, moving off the -4.5 to -5.  That's enough to keep Clemson's chance of covering here at 57%, otherwise we would be boosting this one towards 62% to 65%.  We do like Clemson here nonetheless and this is our early pick at +5.5 (still available some books).

Maryland vs. Michigan - 75% of the early spread action was on the Wolverines as a -7 to -7.5 favorite.  This line was trending upwards in reaction to the money coming in.

Most Bet on Sides (Remainder of Day)

Tennessee vs. Kentucky - This line has moved from -2.5 to -3.5 to -4 favoring Kentucky.  Sharp books observed more money coming in on the Wildcats early on.  This game will see heavy volume overall.

Iowa vs. Kansas State - This one has been moving between -2.5 and -3.5 in favor of the Wildcats.

This Weekend:

Cain Velasquez (Sunday) - Lots of early backing on Velasquez in this must see event as the UFC makes its debut on ESPN's cable broadcast.

Team LeBron @ Team Giannis (Sunday) - As of Saturday morning, 64% of the spread action was on Team Lebron at -5.5.  That number has been trending -6.5 to -5.5.

Consensus Picks

Today's Consensus Picks where better than 70% of the plays are on a particular side:

Louisville Cardinals -5 - Not surprising that 75% of all plays are on the Cardinals.

Green Bay Phoenix -5.5 - 80% of plays on the Phoenix.

South Carolina Gamecocks -4 - 73% of the plays on South Carolina here.

Florida Atlantic Owls -5.5 - 78% of the plays on the Florida Atlantic in their game against Rice.

FSU -6.5 - 75% of plays on the Seminoles as a -6.5 road favorite at Georgia Tech.

Iowa -2.5 - Better than 79% of plays were on the Hawkeyes early vs. Rutgers.
