  • A Bills win would lock up the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs

  • The line on this Week 17 game was at Buffalo -1.5 or -2 depending on the book

  • Miami will be without starting linebacker Elandon Roberts

  • Wide receiver Cole Beasley has been ruled out for Buffalo due to a knee injury

  • Dolphins get into the Playoffs with a win or Ravens loss or Browns loss or Colts loss

  • BetOnline (established in 1999) offers a generous welcome bonus (max bonus $1000)

It promises to be nice and crisp in Buffalo this Sunday for the warm weather loving Miami Dolphins.  Fortunately, the Bills have little to play for after clinching a Playoff spot.  A win would lock up the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.

Buffalo is a -1.5 to -2 point favorite Sunday.

Miami will be without starting linebacker Elandon Roberts, who suffered a knee injury in last week's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Wide receiver/punt returner Jakeem Grant, who suffered an ankle injury against the Raiders, is expected miss the Buffalo game. Three other key Dolphins are questionable: receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring), guard Solomon Kindley (knee) and defensive end Shaq Lawson (shoulder).

At quarterback, the Dolphins will again start rookie Tua Tagovailoa.  Backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick tested positive for Covid-19 the other day and will be unavailable.

For Buffalo, wide receiver Cole Beasley has been ruled out due to a knee injury. He ranks second on the team in receptions (82) and receiving yards (967) and has four touchdowns this season.

It wasn't immediately clear whether Buffalo would be giving it's all Sunday with very little on the line.

The Dolphins are in with a win but there are other scenarios that could still get them in the Playoffs.

Baltimore loses (highly unlikely as they will be facing the Cincinnati Bengals), Cleveland losses (highly unlikely as they are facing a Steelers team that has already clinched and will be without Ben Rothlisberger), or Indianapolis loses (they are hosting the Jaguars).

Bottom line: The Dolphins need to win Sunday.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
