The Miami Dolphins shock win over the New England Patriots makes it possible, though highly unlikely, that they can still take the AFC East at ridiculous payout odds.

Miami would have to win their remaining three games and New England would need to lose their last three, which would mean four unprecedented consecutive losses.

The Dolphins are more logically in the Playoff hunt and this could pave their way to the 2019 Super Bowl.  Miami winning the Super Bowl pays $15000 for every $100 bet.

Miami was expected to open as a -7.5 to -8 point road favorite in Minnesota for Week 15.

The Dolphins victory against New England in Week 14 will do down as one of the most memorable this season.

From ESPN.com:

With their playoff hopes hanging on by a slim thread, the Dolphins called a last-ditch hook-and-ladder appropriately named 'Boise.' Two pitches, a cross-field zig-zag and Kenyan Drake outrunning a stumbling Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown as time expired for a 34-33 Dolphins win over the Patriots.

"We have something for those type of situations. We work on it every Friday and Saturday," coach Adam Gase said. "It's boring because you might go three years without calling one of them. But these guys stuck with it and they executed that one for sure."

This is the Dolphins second consecutive win as they go up 7-6.
