The Denver Broncos head to Oakland for Monday Night Football as a 6-8 disappointment. Although the Broncos showed some signs of life at different times this year, they were never able to put it all together.

That inability to show consistency will be the end of the Vance Joseph tenure in Denver as he is almost sure to be fired when the season comes to an end. The Broncos have a chance to get back to .500 for the season if they win their final two games and that may be a point of pride for Denver. Other than that, there is not much to play for on either side. The Broncos are -2.5 point favorites as they head to Oakland for what appears to be the final football game in Oakland-Alameda Coliseum.

Broncos Offense Struggling

The Denver offense has been one of the poorest units in football this season. A good remedy for that is going up against the Oakland defense. For Denver to win this game, I expect them to keep the ball on the ground as much as possible. Running back Phillip Lindsay is the most talented player on the Broncos offense and he needs 20-25 carries in this one. Oakland has not proven that they can stop anyone on the ground and Denver, for all their faults, is a top-10 rushing offense in the NFL.

Run the Football

Another positive for Denver running the ball is that it will keep the ball out of Case Keenum’s hands. Keenum was given a pirate’s booty to come to Denver and be the guy after all his success in Minnesota last year. However, things have not worked out as Keenum’s 2018 numbers are very much in line with his pre-Minnesota years. In other words, it appears that 2017 was the fluke for Keenum and what you are seeing now is the real deal.

Defense Wins

The Denver defense is still one of the top units in football and it is sad to watch this unit get wasted by horrible offensive play. Oakland should have some serious trouble scoring on this unit. If the Broncos can get out to an early lead, Oakland has shown that they will abandon the run and put the game in Derek Carr’s hands. Von Miller and company would love the chance to pin their ears back and go after Carr all night.

Basically for the Broncos it comes down to what pride is left in that locker room. They have nothing to play for except for whatever motivation they can find in themselves. They are the better team. Every team is the better team than Oakland. Denver needs to go out and punch the Raiders in the mouth early. If they do that, chances are the Raiders will fold up like a lawn chair.

Bookies and agents looking for a Price Per Head for all their college football needs in the state of Utah should look no further than Power Pay Per Head for all their needs.  Utah also has a professional NBA team, which has played well over the years but was a few games under the .500 mark in 2023.  They were still giving local bookies fits with their 43-32-2 record Against The Spread.

Bookie Software for Those in Maryland

Bookies are plentiful throughout the state of Maryland.  This is due to a decades-long crackdown on Internet gamblng sites that led many such companies to stop accepting business from the state.  And now the state has just begun regulating sports betting apps.  Local bookies won't be getting a license any time soon but they can certainly benefit.

Bookies Software in Mississippi - Start Your Own Sportsbook

Mississippi may be one of the best places to run a bookmaking operation.  The state is gambling-friendly, was one of the first to allow regulated sports betting following a Supreme Court decision overturning decades of prohibition and there are commercials for sportsbooks every few minutes during games.  But Mississippi does not regulate mobile online sports betting.  That's where the local bookie has an edge.

The New York Jets added some draft capital for a potential Aaron Rodgers trade.  They traded wide receiver Elijah Moore to the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday just as they were finalizing a free agent contract for his replacement, former Kansas City Chiefs wideout Mecole Hardman.
